Hyun Bin bid farewell to his friends, family and fans in his Marines uniform last week on March 7th to begin his seven-week basic training course.

In the first picture, Hyun Bin can be seen standing amongst his younger and much fascinated junior colleagues.

Meanwhile, the second picture displays Hyun Bin holding onto a sheet of paper containing information about his active duty, while he listens intently to the senior officers.

Hyun Bin will be in active duty for a total of 21 months, and will be discharged on 6th December, 2012
